The pleasant and beneficial effect of horse balm
Horse balm is a natural product intended for external use. It can help with back pain, but also relieves pain in joints and muscles. It was Ulf Jacoby who first developed horse balm while working as a pharmacist. The gel consists of the active ingredients of various plants and contains arnica, menthol, eucalyptus and camphor. It also contains a number of essential oils that are already known for their beneficial effects on horses’ joints.
Originally developed for animal use
Horse balm was once not intended for use on humans. It was actually developed specifically for use on animals to provide relief for horses after the strain of riding. Today, horse balm is often used for tension of varying degrees. The exact composition of the gel, and above all the amount of ingredients it contains, can vary. In general, the herbal components promote blood circulation, relieve pain and also have an anti-inflammatory effect.
